Aesopian's Podcast
Matt Kirtley (aka Aesopian) is a black belt in BJJ and is well known for his groundbreaking website Aesopian.com, an Awesome BJJ journal he started in 2006 as a blue belt which chronicles a countless number of Awesome BJJ techniques in great detail. the dreaded "Berimbolo"
I still find it amusing how the Berimbolo elicits feelings of hate, anger, even disdain w/ some of our more "traditional" Jiujitseros. They feel the move is not representative of the martial art. Just another "tournament" move breaking away from the “self-defense” origins of Jiu Jitsu. - Ha!
